Retro is chic, old is new when it comes to the eclectic jewelry designs of Terri Gasway.

Terri began designing jewelry in 2006 after being inspired by an inherited collection of vintage jewelry. Some of the pieces were wearable and others were broken but too beautiful to be cast aside.

Through the reworking of these vintage pieces and other found objects, Terri combines the classic of vintage with an edginess that is current to evoke a unique, identifiable look that compliments the trends of today. The contrast of natural stone, warm wood and crystal layered against the boldness of vintage metal chains and leather gives her collection a current yet retro vibe.

“I have expressed my passion for style, fashion and art through my 27 year career as a hair stylist. To further my creative outlets, I began studying the arts through photography, drawing and oil painting and have traveled to France and Italy for instruction and inspiration. Jewelry design is my latest form of creative expression.” Terri is constantly on the hunt for that unique antiquity with a rich patina that could be reworked into a new design.

Terri is originally from Southern California and relocated to Atlanta 16 years ago. She is a self-taught jewelry designer and each piece she creates is hand made.
